December 18, 2010 - Another Year Down
|
Well, it has been a good year. The tech industry has gone a bit off the deep end with lawsuits, the continued Apple obsession, security issues, privacy issues, sub-par Android tablets, Wikileaks getting more press than it ever should, Windows Phone 7 making its debut as a complete overhaul of the Windows Mobile operating system offering, and Oracle winning of the largest, if not the largest copyright infringement lawsuit against SAP for over 1 billion dollars.
On a more personal note, I have made the half way point of grad school, with December 2011 being the expected completion date. So, despite having a busy year behind me, I still have one busy year to go. That does not change what I have been saying since the start, which is that I will continue to update the web site at least once a month, and will continue to bring the best in software, news, and links to other sites to bring the best of the Internet together into one place for all of the visitors who are interested in them. That said, I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday season, no matter which holiday you choose to celebrate, and a Happy New Year. I will be interested to see what 2011 has in store for the tech industry.
