July 6, 2010 - Store Closed
Well, as sorry as i am to see it happen, the Store is no longer active. Per the Terms and Conditions of the site that made and hosted the sale of the t-shirts, if none are sold in a period of 180 days, they must be either all shipped to you or disposed of. So, I have a big box of unsold t-shirts in my room right now. A venture gone poorly, but that is the way it is.

On another note, I apologize for not updating anything in June. My classes this semester have been difficult and time consuming. But, I don't want anyone getting the impression that this site will not continue to be maintained. I assure you I will not allow it to sit idle, and the content will remain up-to-date and important.

As for tech news, Apple and Dell seem to be making headlines lately, but not for the most flattering of reasons. For those of you who rushed out to buy an iPhone 4, and for those of you who have owned or do own an earlier version of the iPhone, you may or may not know that Apple has recently admitted to its software improperly displaying the signal strength at any given time by up to 2 bars. So, if your phone says you have 4 bars of service, you may only have 2. There is also an issue with dropped calls, which Apple blames on you, the customers, for holding your phone the "wrong way." I apologize that my anti-Apple stance on these things doesn't win me a lot of support sometimes, but no company, technology company or otherwise, should be allowed to get away with this type of complete neglect and disrespect of its customers. Dell too is having some issues, with the supposed sale of millions of faulty computers, and then supposedly also trying to hide the faulty components within them from the customers. The lawsuit has just begun, so we will see what happens there. For those of you who are interested in staying up on these things, I highly recommend subscribing to the ZDNet daily newsletter, as there are often a lot of good stories in them, including some that are just interesting from their sister site, SmartPlanet.

Well, that's about it for now. If you decide that you are still interested in a t-shirt, get in touch with me, using the Contact form, and we can work something out.
